January 18th: “Walk with Me” Worldwide Discussion for Youth (watch in units)

January 30th-31st: YCL Retreat (YW) at the Wade home (more info to come)

February 28th: Mini-MTC 9:00 am-4:00 pm (Lincolnton ward building) For ALL youth

March 14th- Tri-Stake Prom: Rex Allen Theater: 4964 Carolina Mill Rd, Hickory, NC 28602 (hosted by Hickory Stake)

April 24th-25th: Priesthood Commemoration Campout

May 2nd: Tri-Stake Spring Dance (Gastonia hosts) 7-10:00 pm (For youth 14 and up) Lincolnton Ward Building

June 15th-19th: YW Camp (Camp Dickenson) YCLs arrive on Monday; all other YW and leaders arrive on Tuesday morning

June 25th-27th: Youth Conference (Mars Hill University) For youth 14 and up; Combined with Asheville Stake

July 20th-24th: YM Camp (Camp Coker)

September 19th: Tri-Stake Fall Dance (LKN hosts) For youth 14 and up

October 17th: Stake Youth Fall Activity

December 5th, 2026: Tri-Stake Winter Dance (Hickory hosts) For youth 14 and up

Mini-MTC 2026

Dear Youth, Parents, and Leaders,

The Stake Young Men and Young Women Presidencies are excited to invite all youth (Turning 12 – 18 ) and YSA interested in serving a mission to a high-energy, one-day Stake Mini-MTC!

This is a day dedicated to seeing what missionary life is really like. Whether your mission is years away or just around the corner, this event will give you the tools, confidence, and "taste" of the field to help you prepare.

Dress: Missionary Attire (Sunday Best)

What’s on the Schedule?

We have a full day of "MTC Life" planned with classes designed to help you succeed as a disciple-leader:

The Mission Journey: Steps to getting your papers started and the call process.
The Gift of Tongues: An introduction to learning a mission language.
Teaching with Power: How to find people and help them build faith in Christ.
Life Skills: Practical "Domestic Skills" and a class on Personal Finance.
International Lunch: Sample cuisines from missions around the world!

We are also honored to have members of the Mission Presidency and Stake Presidency joining us to share their insights and testimonies.
