2024-2025 Stake Youth Activities & Announcements

Columbia Temple is open for appointments. starting March 5, 2024.  Feel free to make appointments for your family or ward.

October 22nd - January 14th - Pre-Registration for FSY - Our stake has been assigned to June 30th-July 5th OR July 7th-12th, 2025 at Furman University in Greenville, SC.  We are choosing to go to FSY as a Stake July 7th-12th. If you are unable to attend that week, please do choose to go the other offered week. Youth can register for any session/location. During pre-registration, youth can request to be assigned to a group with five of their friends. Age restrictions: Youth may attend the year they turn 14, and they can still attend as long as they have not turned 18 by the end of their FSY session.

November 10th: Stake Youth Fireside - 6:00pm at the Stake Center (For ALL youth)

November 16th: Tri-Stake Youth Dance 7-10:00 pm (148 Lazy Lane, Mooresville, NC 28117) Youth 14 and up

November 17th: YCL Meeting (For Youth Camp Leaders) 4:30 pm Gastonia Stake Center

Nov 23rd-Dec 8th - Light the World Giving Machine@ Promenade on Providence 10844 Providence Rd. Charlotte NC 28277.

December 6th: Multi-Stake Activity & Dance at The Giving Machine @ Promenade on Providence 7-9:00pm

December 7th: Stake Youth Whitewater Center Ice Skating Activity 5-9:00pm, Register HERE, Print & Sign THIS WAIVER; Print & Sign THIS FORM.

December 8th: SYLC Meeting 5:00 pm via Zoom (for Stake Youth Leadership Committee)

December 8th: First Presidency Christmas Devotional 8:00 pm (watch from home)

December 20th: Tri-Stake Dance 7:00 PM -10:00 PM (4065 N. Center St. Hickory, NC 28601) Youth 14 and up. 

2025 Activities:

January 12th: Combined Stake YM/YW Camp Kickoff Meeting 6:30 pm

January 24th-25th: YCL Retreat (Location TBD)

February 21st-22nd: Stake Youth Missionary Activity (Date TBD)

March 29th: Tri-Stake Prom 7-10:00 pm (LKN hosts) For youth turning 16 and up

May 17th: Pre-FSY Tri-Stake Youth Activity & Dance 3-9:00 pm (Lincoln Charter School-Lincolnton Campus) (For youth turning 14 and up)

July 7th-12th: FSY (Furman University-Greenville, SC)

July 14th-18th: YM Camp 

August 23rd: Post-FSY Activity

Sep 20th- Tri-Stake Youth Dance (Hickory in charge) For youth turning 14 and up.

November 15th: Tri-Stake Youth Dance (Gastonia) 7:00-10:00 PM Location: Lincolnton Building. 

2026 Activities:

March 14th- Tri-Stake Prom: Rex Allen Theater: 4964 Carolina Mill Rd, Hickory, NC 28602 (hosted by Hickory Stake)
